I have the honor to submit
for Your Lordship's information, copy of Memorandum which I received from the Auditor General relative to some deficiency
on 25 Reams of foolscap paper
received from the Colonial Agent for the use of this Government for the year 1849-50,
together with the Report of a Board of Survey which I caused to be assembled for the purpose of examining the Stationery in question.
From the latter document Your Lordship will perceive that this paper does not correspond with the Invoice, either as to weight or quality, and that it is not at all
